Big Siblings Gets Big Donation From Fall Bowling League Winners

On Tuesday November 28, the fall 2023 bowling league conducted the end-of-season tournament to conclude the 10-week bowling season. Over the course of the season, the league raised $3,050 though league fundraising activities. Benefactors are selected by teams honored for their season achievements.

Lickity Splits earn 1st Place Team honors for the fall 2023 regular season.

Congratulations to the “Lickity Splits” for their 1st Place performance through 8 weeks of league play. They were recognized before the end of season tournament began. They named the Big Siblings Program at Big Brother Big Sister Greater Pittsburgh as their charity designation. Big Siblings is a new mentorship program from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Pittsburgh’s (BBBSPGH) focused on youth who identify as LGBTQ+.

Whips & Frames earn Tournament Champion honors in End Of Season Tournament for fall 2023.

During the tournament, “Whips & Frames” prevailed to earn End-of-Season Tournament Champions. They decided to also select Big Brother Big Sisters thereby doubling the intended donation.


The $3050 donation to Big Siblings elevates the 2023 charity impact of the organization has reached $14,402 with this donation.
