A second season of ultimate frisbee is coming this fall on Wednesday evenings in Pittsburgh. The season will begin on Wednesday, August 23 with weekly play through October 25. The league has applied for permits which will have games taking place at 8:00pm and 9:00pm under the lights at West Penn Field (470 30th St, Pittsburgh, PA 15219).
Registration
Registration is set to open on July 29 via the LeagueApps Registration Portal. Players will be required to pay a $40 league fee to participate.
A Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) pre-registration period for underrepresented groups (POC, trans/non-binary, people with disabilities, and other marginalized groups) will take place one day early starting July 28.
Registration will close to all players on August 6 and any player not paid in full by that time will be considered ineligible thereby forfeiting their spot in the league.
League Play
Games are played as 60-minute matches or until a team reaches 15 points. Teams field 6 players at a time, but teams may roster up to 12 players. Stonewall Ultimate will use USA Ultimate rules as a baseline set of rules for the season.
Field Location
Applications have been submitted for lighted fields at West Penn Field within the City of Pittsburgh, but permits have not yet been issued. The Department of Public Works is working to approve fall permit locations. So, please be patient as the exact playing location is finalized.

Play It Forward Campaign
Prospective participants are welcome to take advantage of the Play-It Forward Fund to apply for a reduction of registration fees. The fund supports our Stonewall community by offsetting registration costs with the belief that financial access should not be a barrier to participation in our leagues or programs. Participants can apply for these funds until July 27 at 11:59pm.
