The Spring 2024 Rules have been modified with this addendum. The intention is that this only affects the single season of play.
Season Schedule
The league will have a 12 week schedule – 1 Welcome Week, 10 Weeks of Scheduled League Play, and 1 Tournament Week. Each team will bowl in 8 games of competition during the regular season.
BYE WEEKS
For the Spring 2024 season, the league made the bold decision to accept more teams than the bowling alley could offer lanes. The league has 26 lanes to conduct a 32 team season. This means that each team will experience a “BYE” week or a week of no competition. During the bye week players are welcome to visit the bowling alley to participate in the social elements of the league, but there is not a lane available for them to bowl.
Season Standings
With bye weeks in the schedule, the weekly standings sheet will be ordered by win percentage.
End Of Season Tournament Modifications
With 32 teams qualifying for the end of season tournament, the following survivor elimination structure will be in place.
- Teams 1st-8th place from the regular season standings automatically advance to Round 2.
- Round 1: Teams 9th through 32nd Place bowl. The top 16 Teams advance to round 2.
- Round 2: Teams 1st through 8th Place and Round 1 advancing teams bowl. The top 8 Teams advance to round 3.
- Round 3: The 8 advancing teams bowl. The top 2 teams advance to the Championship Match.
- Championship Match: The final 2 teams bowl for the title Tournament Champion.
- The rounds will NOT be cumulative scoring.
