🌙 Under the Full Moon, Rain, Wind & Glory: Stonewall Ultimate Fall Finals Recap!

What a night to close out the Fall 2025 season! Finals night had it all—weather drama, moonlit fields, and some unforgettable battles.

🌦️ The Setup: We started with a warm, windy day that quickly turned stormy. Heavy rain forced us to delay the first games by 30 minutes. But once the skies cleared, the lights came on, the full moon rose, and the stage was set for an electric evening of ultimate.

Game Results – Wednesday, November 5, 2025

  • 5th & 6th Place Showdown (7:00 PM) Ultimate Furbys (A) – 5 Kpop Demon Huckers (H) – 11 ✨ The Demon Huckers brought the energy and secured 5th place with a commanding win.
  • 3rd & 4th Place Battle (7:00 PM) Disc-O Ballers (A) – 6 Isaly’s Chipped Hammers (H) – 4 💿 The Ballers danced their way to victory, edging out the Hammers in a tight contest.
  • Championship Match (8:30 PM) Backhanded Compliments (A) – 8 Scoober Goobers (H) – 12 🏆 The Goobers claimed the crown! The highlight came in the second half when both teams locked into a fierce, drawn-out point that had the sidelines buzzing. It was ultimate at its finest—grit, strategy, and heart.

The rain cleared, the moon was glowing, and the spotlight turned to YOU—the players who made this season unforgettable. Our Ulti Awards Ceremony celebrated the teams and individuals who brought spirit, skill, and joy to the league.

They have fun while doing it and have built a great community on their team.” • “You can tell the core of their team has played together longer than Stonewall. They always seem to see what their teammates are doing. I like playing them because they play smart ultimate and if you do something well against them, you know it wasn’t just down to them making a stupid mistake.”
  • ✨ Scoober Goobers – Spirit of the Game Award For embodying sportsmanship, positivity, and fair play. 💬 “Cause they rock.”
